How to enable review source badges and review collection policy
Go to your Judge.me Admin Dashboard
Navigate to Widgets > Review Widget > Transparency > Transparency settings.
In the Review transparency badges section:
Check the box Show all (Recommended) to display all transparency badges.
Check selected boxes to display specific transparency badges.
In the Review collection policy section, you can check the box Show review collection information to let customers know how your store collects reviews.
Click Save.
Types of transparency badges
Each badge reflects how a review was submitted. These badges are styled to match your Review Widget and provide quick, transparent context to customers:
Review collected via store invitation (Email, SMS, push notification)
Review from another provider (Imported reviews)
Reviews collected from a store visitor (Web reviews) via the Review Widget
Collected by a verified review provider (Etsy, Google, Shop app)
Review earned for a future purchase (Incentivized review with a Judge.me coupon)
Review collection policy
When you enable this feature, your Review Widget will show a "How we collect reviews" link. This links to Judge.me’s Review Authenticity page, which explains:
How reviews are collected (email, SMS, onsite forms).
How reviews are verified as coming from real customers.
How reviews are grouped (e.g., via product or store syndication).
How reviews are shared across platforms (e.g., Google Shopping).
How badges appear on your store
Displayed beneath each review in your Review Widget
Styled to match your widget's border style (rounded or square)
Text uses the widget’s secondary color.
Translated automatically based on the customer’s preferred languages.
