πŸ’‘ NOTE: AI is not always 100% accurate, and generated fields should be reviewed before using your template.

Juro's AI may not identify all fields in the template. All generated smartfields should be checked against your organization's standards (e.g., if your template references an 'effective date' rather than a 'start date', the name of the relevant field should reflect this.)

Auto-generating your smartfields πŸ€–

Before uploading your template, put your key data points in square brackets (e.g., [Effective Date]) so the AI agent can identify which smartfields to create. For signatory fields, square brackets must be removed.

When this is done and you're ready to upload your template:

1. Open the Templates section (visible to Workspace Admins only) and click All.

2. Click + Add template, name your template and select Next.

3. Drop a file from your desktop into the upload portal, or click Select it from your computer to see a list of the documents on your device. To build your template from scratch, click Skip.

4. You'll be redirected to your template. Some auto-generated fields will show in your SMARTFIELDS tab to help you get started. Alternatively, Juro's AI can scan your template and generate smartfields from its content.

In just a few seconds, Juro AI will generate the smartfields for the data points it can identify and place these on the template body.

Next, we'll take a look at how to manage your smartfields post-generation.

Managing your smartfields πŸ”˜

Below is a quick summary of what you can do with your smartfields after Juro AI applies them to your template:

1. Adding new fields to your document body

Remove the relevant placeholder text, click and hold on the 6 dots that appear when you hover over the smartfield and drag and drop it into the space.

2. Reordering fields

Click and hold on the 6 dots that appear when you hover over the smartfield, and drag and drop the field to your preferred position.

3. Renaming smartfields

Click the 3 dots next to the smartfield name, click Rename and enter the new name. Then, click out of the field or press Enter to save your changes.

4. Changing field types

Click the icon to the right of the field and select a new smartfield type. You can also learn more about these here.

5. Deleting smartfields

Click the 3 dots next to the smartfield and select Delete.
