Managing conditional approvers

Automate your approval flows further by assigning users based on need.

Written by Jimmy Mooring

💡 NOTE: Only Admin and Editor users can edit and delete rules that carry over into a contract from a template.

Adding a conditional approver 👁️

To make an approver conditional (i.e. triggered when the assigned rule is activated):

1. Click on the relevant approver and select Add rules.

2. Under the WHEN heading, select the smartfield (e.g. 'Jurisdiction'), the trigger action (e.g. 'equals'), and the trigger information (e.g. 'UK').

🙅 To remove all rules applied to an approver in the Approvers section, click on the approver's name and select Unlink all rules from the dropdown menu.
