Introduction πŸ‘‹

Juro's Conditional Approvers feature automates the approval workflow for a document even further.

It does this by allowing the user to assign approvers using the Rules function; simplifying the Approvals process and reducing time spent on setting up Approver(s) on a contract-by-contract basis.

πŸ’‘ NOTE: Only Admin and Editor users can edit and delete rules that carry over into a contract from a template.

Adding conditional approvers πŸ—οΈ

If you'd like to add conditional approvers to your approval workflow, there are three ways to do this.

Option 1️⃣ Adding a conditional approver from the Smartfields tab πŸ”˜

To add a conditional approver from the Smartfields tab:

1. Open the Smartfields tab.

2. Click the icon to the right of your smartfield, and select Add rules from the menu

3. In the RULES tab click + Add approvers and select the approver you'd like to add (for external approvers, type the full email address and press Enter).

4. Under the WHEN heading, select the smartfield (e.g. 'Jurisdiction'), the trigger action (e.g. 'equals'), and the trigger information (e.g. 'UK').

If you want to apply different conditions to individual Approvers, repeat the steps above, selecting the relevant user each time.

To remove rules applied to an approver using smartfields, go to the smartfield, click the type icon and select Unlink all rules from the menu

Option 2️⃣ Adding a conditional approver from the Rules tab πŸ“

To add an approver from the Rules tab:

1. First, open the Rules tab.

2. At the bottom of the RULES tab, click + Add rule. In the new rule that generates, click + Add approvers and select the approver you'd like to add (for external approvers, type the full email address and press Enter).

3. Under the WHEN heading, select the smartfield (e.g. 'Jurisdiction'), the trigger action (e.g. 'equals'), and the trigger information (e.g. 'UK').
