Create a questionnaire for your Juro contract creators, with the answers populating key data points on your contract.

You can write custom questions to guide your users through the contract creation process and populate key data points on your documents.

Save time trying to gather the information that's best provided by a specific party by asking them to do this through Juro's user-friendly questionnaire structure.

So, let's get started by answering a few questions about what your users can expect to see when they create a contract from a template with an internal form set up on it.


How do internal forms work and what do they look like to an internal user? 🧐


Juro forms have a questionnaire structure similar to the kinds that we frequently encounter online. Each signing side has its own dedicated Forms tab, so you can assign the smartfields that you'd like the counterparty to fill out to their specific Q&A flow, and vice versa for internal members.

The internal form will appear at the point of contract creation for internal users. Questions for internal users are created at the template level and are linked to your smartfields so that the answers appear where you need them on your contracts.


Setting up a form for an internal user πŸ”¨


It only takes a few steps to add a question to your internal form. To get started:

1. Unpublish your template, and click the Internal Forms icon. This opens the Forms sidebar.

2. In the Internal Forms sidebar, you'll see a default question ("What is the name of the counterparty?"). The answer to this question will name the document and the counterparty signing side. While this question can't be removed, you can tweak or replace the text as needed.

3. Click + Add next to the QUESTIONS heading to add a new question to your flow.

4. In the new sidebar that opens, select the smartfield that you'd like to assign to the question. πŸ’‘ NOTE: Each smartfield can be assigned to one question in your flow.

5. Decide whether you'd like the question to be OPTIONAL or REQUIRED. If optional, the user will be able to skip this question without providing an answer. For questions related to essential information, we recommend making these REQUIRED.

6. Add your question text. If needed, you can also provide additional guidance text in the DESCRIPTION field.

And that's it - you're all set! Repeat the above process to add as many questions as you'd like to your Forms flow.

To reorder questions, click and hold on the 6 dots that appear next to a question when you hover over it, and drag the question to where you'd like it be in the order.


Creating 'conditional' questions πŸ“


What happens when one of the questions in your flow isn't needed in certain circumstances, or when it would be helpful to add additional questions based on the respondent's answers?

For this, you can use the Rules function to add conditional logic to your questions. To do this:

1. Set up your question by following the steps outlined above.

To add a rule to a question, it must be followed by another question in the flow, so ensure this is also set up before beginning. When this is done, go to the relevant question and click + Add Rule.

2. Choose to 'hide' or 'jump to' a question once the conditional logic is met.

3. Select the question you would like to 'hide' or 'jump to'.

4. Set your rule triggers e.g. "Jump to question 5 when the answer of question 4 + 'fixed'".

You can repeat this process for each question; just remember to have a question after the one you're applying a rule to so that you can either 'hide' or 'jump to' it.

Now that you've set up your internal form, contract creators will be directed through the flow when they create the contract where within a few clicks, they'll have made the populating of your contract data a whole lot simpler!
