The Lecture Note template in ScribbleVet lets you record continuing education (CE) lectures, conferences, webinars, and other educational sessions the same way you would record a patient exam. ScribbleVet then generates organized lecture notes with key takeaways, new developments, and action items for you to review.
Before you begin
The Lecture Note template requires a patient to be selected before recording. We recommend creating a dedicated patient for educational sessions (for example, "AVMA - 2026") and reusing it for future lectures and webinars.
If you're attending an in-person lecture, perform a quick 30-second test recording before the session begins to make sure the room acoustics produce clear audio.
Record a lecture or webinar

Create a new visit for your dedicated lecture patient.

Tip: The Lecture Note template is fully customizable. See Template customization to learn how to create your own version. |
Ask questions with Chat
After ScribbleVet generates your lecture notes, you can use Chat within the Transcript section to quickly find information from the recording. To use it, open the Transcript section and click Chat.
You can ask questions like:
"What dosing protocol did the speaker recommend?"
"Summarize the discussion about feline diabetes."
"What were the speaker's main recommendations?"
Chat with Transcript helps you revisit important details without searching through the entire transcript.
