SUMMARY: IN THIS RELEASE
Search term pages now show Amazon’s search volume for each term alongside your own results, and the Search Terms tab adds estimated top-of-search metrics. Applying a unit forecast now changes demand only for the SKUs it includes. Also in this release: a Sales Basis column on the Restock and Inventory reports and clearer names for several P&L lines.
ENHANCEMENTS
Advertising
Introducing the Search Volume tab! Search term detail pages now have a Search Volume tab that puts Amazon’s weekly market data for the term (Search Volume, plus total impressions, clicks, cart adds and purchases across all brands) next to your own ad results, and calculates your share of each. It’s a quick way to tell whether a change in your results came from shopper demand or from your ads. Read the full guide to learn more!
The Search Terms tab and search term detail page now offer estimated TOS Impressions, TOS Clicks and TOS Spend, based on each target’s top-of-search share, with Excel export.
Audiences that Amazon has archived now show a lock icon on the Audiences tab and their Audience Modifier can no longer be edited.
On Manage DSP, Total % of Ad Orders NTB now uses new-to-brand orders instead of units. Date ranges more than about 90 days back may read lower than expected.
Inventory
Applying a unit forecast now changes demand only for the SKUs it includes. A new Demand Status column shows whether each SKU’s forecast is Applied, Overridden or Cleared.
The Restock and Inventory reports now have a Sales Basis column showing whether each row uses In-Stock Days or Calendar Days. Columns from Last 7 onward move one to the right, so check any formulas that reference them. The Restock report also labels its 30-day figures as demand and adds a Last In-Stock Date column. The Inventory report’s Include Out of Stock Days option now starts off.
Custom column filters on the Inventory grids can now export each quantity behind the Inventory column, such as AWD Replenishment Qty, as its own Excel column.
Accounting
Several P&L lines have new names: PPC Advertising is now Advertising, FBA Fulfillment Fees is now Fulfillment Fees, FBA Replenishment Fees is now Replenishment Fees, Refunds is now Returns, Gross Sales Taxes is now Taxes, and Marketplace Withheld Taxes is now Withheld Taxes.
Analytics
Vendor Lost Featured Offer % is now available in Custom Export and the Vendor Sales and Traffic reports.
DataLink/MCP
DataLink’s inventory history now records each SKU’s fulfillment type (FBA or FBM) and listing status each day, starting with this release.
Global Features
Performance and reliability improvements across advertising, accounting, inventory and analytics data syncs.
BUG FIXES
The Set Default Bid bulk action on the Manage Sponsored Ads Ad Groups tab now saves the bid you enter instead of failing.
Ad Conv Rate (Same Product) on the Manage DSP Strategies and Budget Groups tabs now uses orders for your promoted products only, instead of repeating Total Ad Conv Rate.
Amazon accounts whose Seller Central reports come back in Spanish, German or Japanese now import their full listings, so active products no longer show as Seller feedback now imports for Amazon Canada and France accounts.
Deleting a unit forecast that’s driving demand now returns its SKUs to your demand settings.
On SKU Unit Forecasts > By Month, the Product column filter now matches SKU and ASIN as well as product name.
After you click Delete Item Settings on a SKU’s Daily Demand tab, the demand settings and chart now update right away.
The Oversize storage status in the inventory storage widget now reflects Oversize usage instead of Standard usage.
The month picker on Margin Details by Month no longer allows future months.
On the Comparison Tool, the Other Fees and TACoS differences on grouped rows, and the Other Fees grand total, now show the correct sign.
Logging out, or being logged out after inactivity, now returns you to your company’s custom sign-in page.
In the LTV Report Excel download, the LTV by month and LTV by ASIN tabs now show amounts in your selected currency instead of US dollars.
Seller traffic in Looker reports and DataLink now keeps every account’s traffic when two of your seller accounts have the same ASIN in a marketplace, so totals for those accounts may go up.
Hover pop-ups no longer flicker open and closed when they sit near the top of a scrolling section, such as the header icons on the search term Search Volume tab.
