Karta.io offers two types of accounts: Business and Freelance
Which one you can open depends on your company status and registration country.

Prohibited industries

Karta.io does not work with certain industries, including: Mining, Adult Industry, Money Services Business, Stock Promotion, Waste Management, Arms Trading, Casinos/Gaming, Government/Military/Public Agency, Marijuana Services Business.


Which type should I choose?

  • If you have a registered business → we recommend a Business Account (better BIN, lower fees, higher limits, sub-accounts).

  • If you don’t have a company or it’s registered in one of the unsupported countries(contact support to get the list) → choose Freelance Account.
