How to withdraw cash
Go to a contactless ATM.
Open Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Hold your device near the ATM reader.
Select Withdrawal.
Enter your card PIN.
Choose the amount and confirm.
Limits
The following limits apply:
Maximum 250 USD per withdrawal (including all Karta and ATM surcharges).
Maximum 3 ATM attempts within any rolling 24-hour period.
Important:
All ATM attempts count toward the 3-attempt limit, whether approved or declined.
Transactions declined for any reason still count toward the limit.
The 24-hour window is rolling and calculated from the time of your most recent attempt. It does not reset at midnight.
Both the per-withdrawal limit and the 3-attempt limit apply at the same time.
Fees
The following fees apply to ATM transactions:
Successful withdrawal: $1 + 2.5% of the transaction amount
Declined ATM attempt: $1
The ATM operator may also charge an additional fee. The ATM operator fee is shown on the ATM screen before confirmation.
All fees are deducted from your available balance.
Why your withdrawal may be declined
A withdrawal may be declined if:
Incorrect PIN was entered
Insufficient balance (including fees)
Per-transaction limit exceeded
24-hour amount limit reached
3 attempts within 24 hours already used
Security checks were triggered

Which currency should I choose at an ATM?
When withdrawing cash abroad, always choose the local currency of the country youโre in.
For example: EUR in the Eurozone, GBP in the UK, USD in the US.
Why?
If you choose your home/account currency instead, the ATM may apply its own exchange rate (DCC โ Dynamic Currency Conversion), which is usually worse and can result in extra fees.
Example:
If you are in Spain, choose EUR, not USD or your home currency.
