It's summer time! Below is everything you know need to know for the Christmas and New Year Period.


Order Processing Days

Over the holiday period, we won’t be processing orders on public holidays. As usual, we also don't process orders on weekends.

Below is a list of processing days so you know what to expect over this time:

Monday 23rd to Tuesday 24th December - Processing orders daily as usual

Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th DecemberPublic Holidays – No order processing

Friday 27th December, Monday 30th and Tuesday 31st December - Processing orders

Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd January - Public Holidays - No order processing

Friday 3rd January - Back to business as usual

Handy hint: Orders placed before 12 pm on a business day will be included in that day's processing. If placed after, it will be included in the next business day. Orders will be settled within a further 2 business days.

You can check your Transactions list for an accurate status on your order as it updates from Pending > Processing > Completed.


Deposits

If you're making your first deposit from a new bank account on a public holiday or weekend, these should be cleared and in your wallet within 1-2 business days.

Deposits made from a previously verified bank account in your own name will be available in your wallet within 2 hours.


KiwiSaver contributions

From Tuesday 24th December to Monday 6th January is the IRD's shut-down period. This may cause delays with employer contributions and employee deductions being remitted to your KiwiSaver via the IRD.

Transfer requests to join the Kernel KiwiSaver Plan and transfers out when joining a different provider will also experience delays during this period.

If you have an urgent enquiry you can let us know by including 'Urgent' in the subject or message itself. We'll use this to prioritise your request.
