The process to withdraw your KiwiSaver balance for varies depending on the reasoning behind withdrawing your balance.

The first step for all withdrawals is to request a withdrawal application form from within the Kernel platform. Here are the steps to do so:

Step 1: Log into your Kernel account.

Step 2: Navigate to the 'KiwiSaver' tab in the main menu, then click the 'Payments and Transfers' drop down to the right of the screen.

Step 3: Select the option to 'Withdraw from plan'.

Step 4: Under the 'reason for your KiwiSaver withdrawal' dropdown, select which option applies.

Step 5: Download the application form, complete it with your appropriate information. Please send it back through to support@kernelwealth.co.nz for us to process.
