Transitioning your referral program to Indiegogo InDemand

Learn how to keep the momentum going on Indiegogo InDemand

Have you moved your campaign to Indiegogo InDemand after it was successfully funded and would like to also keep your referral program going? Kickbooster allows you to do just that! 

Transitioning your referral program is a great way to keep the momentum going!

In this article we cover the following:


Transitioning from Kickstarter to Indiegogo InDemand

1.) Once your Kickstarter campaign has ended, head over to your Campaign's settings page and scroll down to 'Connect your Campaign', then click on the Indiegogo InDemand tab.


2.) After reviewing our terms and conditions for InDemand campaigns, insert your InDemand URL and click 'Transition to InDemand'.


3.) From here, you will need to add collaborator@kickbooster.me as a team member to your Indiegogo InDemand campaign in order for Kickbooster to track and monitor pledges.


4.) Your reward offering and sign up page design will default to your previous settings. If you would like to make any changes, this would be the time to do it (You can still make changes during your campaign).


5.) Once you've reviewed your settings, it's now time to re-activate your referral program and have your existing and new affiliate's referral links point to your InDemand campaign. 



Transitioning from Indiegogo to Indiegogo InDemand

1.) Once your Indiegogo campaign has ended, head over to your Campaign's settings page, scroll down to 'Connect your Campaign', click on the Indiegogo InDemand tab, and then  'Continue your referral program for Indiegogo InDemand'


2.) After reviewing our terms and conditions for InDemand campaigns, insert your InDemand URL and click 'Transition to InDemand'.


3.) Next, Kickbooster (collaborator@kickbooster.me) needs to be added as a team member to your InDemand campaign.

This step should already be completed since Kickbooster would have been added as a team member for your Indiegogo campaign. In any case that team member access was removed and you're being prompted to complete this step, simply do so by adding collaborator@kickbooster.me. Click here to learn more.


4.) Your reward offering and sign up page design will default to your previous settings. If you would like to make any changes, this would be the time to do it (You can still make changes during your campaign).

5.) Once you've reviewed your settings, it's now time to re-activate your referral program and have your existing and new affiliate's referral links point to your InDemand campaign. 


Important Reminders

  • All existing affiliate links will automatically point to your InDemand campaign once successfully transitioned. Affiliates will not need to create new links.

  • Existing Affiliates will be notified that the campaign has transitioned to InDemand and they will be able to continue earning commissions.

  • Your InDemand campaign will not automatically be added to on our Marketplace if your previous campaign was. You will need to add your InDemand campaign by going to your 'Share' settings if you would like it displayed on our Marketplace.
