eCommerce Programs Only

The Referral Review Period allows you to choose a length of time after a purchase is made to review the details of the referral before commissions are generated.

Kickbooster will only invoice for the referrals that have completed their review period.

As the referral program owner, you are ultimately responsible for reviewing all referrals before the end of the Referral Review Period and to notify Kickbooster if an adjustment or void needs to be made.

How long should you set your review period?

Merchants will often align their review period with their return policy so commissions aren't paid out for possible returned or cancelled orders.

On the other hand, something you will also want to keep in mind is that the longer your review period is, the longer your affiliates will wait to receive their commissions.

What happens after the review period?

Each month, Kickbooster will invoice you for the associated Affiliate commissions for all referrals that have completed their review period. At that point, the referral cannot be voided.

How to set your Referral Review Period

  1. Go to your program's Settings

  2. Go to Attributions > Enter the # of days you want to set as your review period

Note: We currently allow you to set your review period from 1-30 days. If you require a longer review period, please reach out to our support team at team@kickbooster.me.

Setting the right review period is crucial to keeping your referral program fair and effective. Stay flexible and adjust the timeframe as needed to ensure a smooth experience for both your affiliates and customers.
