Why is the child duplicated in the Parents profile?

When a child attends 2 settings, parents can see the learning journal from both settings in their Parent Portal.

When adding a child to the parent's profile, if you see the child's name appear twice, this means the parent has children with another setting, and that setting also uses Kinderly.

The child you added will be at the bottom of the list (in blue).

If you click the child, from the other setting (in grey), you will not be able to access any details and will see the screen below;

Click Return to Dashboard or choose an option in the sidebar menu to come out of this screen.

The other setting will also see the child's name appear twice but will not be able to access the child's details within your setting.

Note: If you have any concerns, please check with the parent first, then contact us and we can look into the other setting.
