The parent has a red icon

This means the parent has not set up a password for the Parent Portal.

If you have checked the Child's profile page and the icon is Red.

Ask the parent if they have received an email from Kinderly:

  • if they have, they will need to click Verify Now and follow the process,

  • if they haven't, you can resend the invite via the Parent Directory. ย 

Also, make sure they have the Parent Passphrase, which can be found in Administration > Preferences, for the security check.

Note: It is also good practice to ask parents to add the following email to their contacts list, to avoid emails ending up in the junk/spam folders.
