Once you add a new hire to People by Wagepoint, you'll have the opportunity to share files and create an onboarding page prior to sending their invitation.

The onboarding page is a guide for a new hire that can walk them through forms and tasks, as well as how to find your office and visit websites they'll use frequently.

The first step to creating an onboarding experience is to upload your onboarding documents that are used each time a new hire starts to People by Wagepoint. To learn how, click here.

Next, create your onboarding tasks and tools.

Once these steps are completed, you're ready to build an onboarding experience for your new hire.

Start by sharing files
From the new hire's profile, click Files from the left hand navigation. Your company files will be immediately visible. You can click the headings to sort your files, and select the ones you'd like to share by checking the box next to them.

Then, check the box to send an email notification and leave some instructions (optional). Finally click Share Files.

Next, build your onboarding page
From the employee's profile, click Onboarding from the left hand navigation. Once you're in the onboarding section, you can add details like arrival instructions and anything additional (this is a great place for an orientation schedule!).

Next, you can add tasks, tools, and highlight team members (new employees can also view the company directory). Once complete, publish the page!

Once the page is published, preview the page from the top right of the screen.
