This article walks you through how to log into Kentucky Department of Revenue (DOR) account and update your Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) settings. Adding Kintsugi’s secure group email allows us to access your Kentucky tax registration directly—no phone calls or back-and-forth codes needed.

Kentucky DOR login page
Your Kentucky DOR login credentials (username & password)
The 2FA virtual mail group ID

🔐 Step-by-Step Instructions
Log into the Kentucky DOR portal
Go to https://mytaxes.ky.gov/
Log in using your account credentials, click “Log In Now”
Enter your “Username” then click “Next”
Enter your password and click “Verify”
Check your email then copy the verification code.
Go back to Kentucky DOR website, click “Enter Verification Code Instead”
Enter (paste) the verification code, and click “Verify”.
Go to your account settings
Once logged in, click “OK” to proceed.
Navigate to your Profile and select "User Profile."
Update your Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) method
To obtain the Virtual Group Mail ID, please navigate to the Kintsugi platform and copy it directly from there.

(Check your Kintsugi app: Configuration > Kintsugi Mail > Virtual Mail Group > Group ID)
Simply paste the Virtual Group Mail ID you copied from the Kintsugi platform into the designated fields below. After entering the required information, click "Save Profile."
Verify the change
A code will be sent to Kintsugi Mail’s inbox
You’ll see this code appear in your Kintsugi Operations Inbox
Enter the code on Kentucky DOR website to verify and complete the setup
Once verified, your account is now connected. Kintsugi Mail will then be able to receive two-factor authentication codes whenever you log into your account in the future.
