๐Ÿ›๏ธ North Carolina โ€“ No Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Settings Required

Updated yesterday

Good newsโ€” North Carolina Department of Revenue (NCDOR) website does not use or require 2-Factor Authentication for access. That means no setup is needed to allow Kintsugi to file on your behalf.

โœ… What Youโ€™ll Need

  • NCDOR eServices login page

  • Your NCDOR eServices login credentials (Contact Name, Contact Email Address, Contact Phone Number, and Account ID/SST ID Number)

Thatโ€™s it! No need to update anything for 2FA.

๐Ÿ” Why This Matters

  1. North Carolina's system provides straightforward access using just your username and password.

  2. Kintsugi can automatically access your account for filing and reconciliation, as there are no additional security measures such as text codes or email confirmations in place.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip

If North Carolina ever updates its login process to require 2FA, weโ€™ll let you know and update this article with new instructions.
