South Dakota – No Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Settings Required

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Good news—South Dakota’s online portal does not use or require 2-Factor Authentication for access. That means no setup is needed to allow Kintsugi to file on your behalf.

✅ What You’ll Need

  • SD EPath Portal login page

  • Your SD EPath Portal login credentials (username & password)

That’s it! No need to update anything for 2FA.

🔐 Why This Matters

  1. South Dakota’s system provides straightforward access using just your username and password.

  2. Kintsugi can automatically access your account for filing and reconciliation, as there are no additional security measures such as text codes or email confirmations in place.

💡 Tip

If South Dakota updates its login process to require 2FA, we’ll let you know and update this article with new instructions.
