US Bank Account Unavailable

Customer's without a US bank account, wiring instructions:

Updated this week

At Kintsugi, our standard practice is to require customers to maintain a US-based bank account for sales tax remittance. We understand, however, that setting up a US bank account can take time—especially for international businesses. To ensure you can remain compliant during this transition, we may be able to offer a short-term solution.

This is particularly important because some states require a US bank account in order to remit taxes at all. If you don’t yet have one and Kintsugi has approved the use of an interim arrangement, we can remit taxes on your behalf until your account is ready.

  • Kintsugi's Tax Ops Team will provide a summary of total liabilities, for you to wire our company.

  • Once we've received confirmation, we will pay the liabilities to the state.

  • Lastly we will provide you with confirmations once complete.
