Overview of Shopify Size Chart Settings in Kiwi

Learn how to manage Kiwi Size Chart & Recommender settings, including Shopify size chart display options, popups, tables, recommenders, analytics, and custom CSS.

Kiwi Size Chart & Recommender is a Shopify size chart app that gives you control over how your size charts and size recommenders appear on your store.

The app includes four main settings categories:

  1. General Settings

  2. Size Chart Settings

  3. Recommender Settings

  4. Advanced Settings

These settings help you customize the display, layout, styling, and behavior of your Shopify size charts and recommenders so they match your store’s design and give shoppers a smoother sizing experience.

How to Access Kiwi App Settings

You can access your app settings by clicking Styles & Settings from the Kiwi dashboard.

From there, the settings will appear on the left side of the page, while the preview appears on the right. This makes it easier to see how your changes affect the size chart design before saving them to your store.

General Settings

The General Settings section controls the overall behavior and appearance of your size charts and recommenders.

These options help you decide how customers will view your size chart on Shopify product pages, whether through an embedded chart, a pop-up modal, a floating button, or a quick preview.

  • Display: Choose how and where size charts are displayed on product pages. Whether injected directly into product details or shown via a modal or floating button.

  • Modal: Customize the modal pop-up that appears when customers click to view the size chart. Adjust text, icons, background colors, and button styles to fit your store's design.

  • Float Button: Enable a floating button to give quick access to size charts.

  • Quick View: Show a small size chart preview when customers select a size variant or hover over the variant selectors. Enable and customize this feature here.

Size Chart Settings

The Size Chart Settings section lets you fine-tune the design and layout of your size charts.

These settings help make your size chart for Shopify products clear, easy to read, and consistent with your store’s branding.

  • Table: Customize the size chart tables with options like unit conversions (Imperial/Metric), decimal precision, and showing inches as fractions.

  • Divider: Adjust divider styles to maintain a cohesive look between different sections of the size chart.

  • Tab: Configure how size charts appear within tabs, allowing easy switching between multiple charts (e.g., for different product categories).

  • Accordion: Use an accordion-style layout to make size charts more compact and user-friendly, especially for large amounts of information.

  • Intl. Chart: Set up international size charts (e.g., US, UK, EU sizes) for customers from different regions.

Recommender Settings

The Recommender Settings section helps you configure Kiwi’s size recommender tool.

The size recommender gives shoppers personalized size suggestions based on the information they enter, helping them choose the right size with more confidence.

  • Display: Choose where and how the size recommender appears on product pages—either prominently or embedded in specific sections for a more subtle look.

  • Advanced Recommender: Provide more precise size recommendations by asking customers for details like height, weight, and body measurements. The tool uses sophisticated algorithms to suggest the best size.

  • General Recommender: (no definition yet)

  • Styles: Customize the appearance of the size recommender by adjusting fonts, colors, and layout to match your store’s design.

Advanced Settings

The Advanced Settings section gives you more control over how Kiwi works behind the scenes.

These options are helpful for merchants who want to manage multiple stores, track sizing interactions, or add custom styling.

  • Sizing Sync: Sync size charts across multiple stores for consistent sizing information across your entire online presence.

  • Analytics: Enable Google Analytics to track how customers interact with size charts and recommenders.

  • Custom CSS: For advanced users, add custom CSS code for complete control over the styling of size charts and recommenders.

  • Others: Disable the default JavaScript script injection on all pages. If you enable this option, you’ll need to manually add Kiwi sizing scripts on the pages where you want to load size charts.
