Ensuring Consistent Display of Default Unit System in Size Charts

Maintain uniformity in size charts by setting a default unit system.

The Kiwi Size Chart & Recommender app allows you to easily add Imperial and Metric units to your sizing tables. Depending on the unit type, the table unit switch button will display one of the following:

  • CM | INCHES: If the table data shows units for length, height, etc.

  • METRIC | IMPERIAL: If the table data contains multiple measurements, such as weight and height, since weight cannot be measured/displayed with a unit for length.

On Premium, Plus, and Ultimate plans, this option is turned on by default.

The app pinpoints the user’s location and displays the appropriate unit system first in the unit conversion button (CM/INCH, METRIC/IMPERIAL) and table data. However, some users may prefer a consistent display of their preferred units, regardless of location.

To Set Default Units:

  1. Navigate to "Styles & Settings" and click on Size Chart.

  2. Go to Table and then Table Unit Settings.

  3. Set Default unit system to the system you prefer (Imperial unit system or Metric unit system) and turn off Auto select unit based on buyer location. For example, if you prefer Centimeters, choose Metric unit system so CM appears first in the size conversion button and table values for every visitor.

By following these steps, you can maintain a consistent display of your preferred units in the Kiwi Size Chart & Recommender app. If you need further assistance, please reach out to our support team!
