What Information We Need to Help You Faster

The details our support team needs to fix a Kiwi issue fast, and where to find each one in your Shopify admin.

To help us resolve your Kiwi issue as quickly as possible, we may ask for a few specific details. When this information is included upfront, we can often skip back-and-forth follow-ups and get straight to the fix.

This article explains what we need and where to find it.

Information That Helps Us the Most

1. Your Theme Name

Different Shopify themes behave very differently, especially when it comes to product page rendering and variant switching.

Where to find it:

  • Shopify Admin → Online Store → Themes

  • Look for the active theme name

Example:

Dawn, Refresh, Debut, or a third-party theme

2. A Product Page URL

Please share the exact product URL where the size chart issue is happening.

This allows us to:

  • Reproduce the issue

  • Check placement behavior

  • See how variants and theme scripts interact

3. Variant App Usage (If Any)

If you’re using a variant app (such as Swatch King or similar), please let us know.

Variant apps often:

  • Re-render parts of the product page

  • Affect where the size chart can safely be placed

Even if you’re unsure, tell us:

  • The app name, or

  • Whether variants are customized beyond the default Shopify options

4. Error Messages or Screenshots

If you see any errors:

  • In the app

  • On the storefront

  • In the browser console

Please share:

  • The exact error message

  • A screenshot, if possible

Common examples include:

  • TypeError

  • atob

  • Validation or selector-related errors

These errors help us quickly determine whether the issue is theme-level, placement-related, or requires escalation.

5. Selector Information (If You’re Using Custom Placement)

If you’re using Custom Injection / Display Settings, please include:

  • The selector you’re using (for example: #product-form or .product__info)

  • Where you want the chart to appear (above or below which element)

Where to find this:

  • Kiwi app → Display / Placement settings

If you’re unsure, that’s okay — just let us know and we can guide you.

Why We Ask for This

Without this information, we often need to follow up multiple times before we can act. Including these details upfront helps us:

  • Diagnose the issue faster

  • Avoid repeat questions

  • Reduce resolution time

  • Get you to a working setup sooner
