The “Size Charts” text that appears at the top of the size chart pop-up (above the table) is the modal header sub-text — also called the header secondary text. Many merchants can’t find where to remove it because deleting the text makes it come back. This article explains why, and how to remove it properly.
Why the text comes back when you delete it
By default, the pop-up modal header sub-text field is empty. When it is empty, Kiwi falls back to the value stored in the Translations tab, which defaults to “Size Charts.” So clearing the field does not leave the sub-header blank — Kiwi simply displays the translation default again. This is also why merchants who use the translation/localization feature see this text auto-populated.
How to remove or change the sub-header text
You can edit the sub-header text globally, or for a specific size chart:
For a specific size chart: open the size chart, click “More actions” → “Advanced Settings,” then toggle OFF “Use Default Modal Settings” to reveal the “pop-up modal header text” and “pop-up modal header sub-text” fields.
Globally (all charts): the same “pop-up modal header sub-text” field is available in your modal settings and applies to every chart that uses the default modal settings.
Once you are in the pop-up modal header sub-text field, choose one of the following:
To hide it (leave it visually blank): enter a single blank space (press the space bar once) in the field, then save. The space suppresses the translation fallback, so the sub-header renders empty on your storefront.
To replace it with your own text: type the text you want instead — for example, “Guide de tailles” — then save.
Note for stores using translations
If you use Kiwi’s translation feature, this sub-header can also be set from the Translations tab, where it defaults to “Size Charts.” The single-space or custom-text approach above still applies — enter a single space to blank it, or your own wording to replace it.
