The “Size Charts” text that appears at the top of the size chart pop-up (above the table) is the modal header sub-text — also called the header secondary text. Many merchants can’t find where to remove it because deleting the text makes it come back. This article explains why, and how to remove it properly.
Why the text comes back when you delete it
By default, the pop-up modal header sub-text field is empty. When it is empty, Kiwi falls back to the value stored in the Translations tab, which defaults to “Size Charts.” So clearing the field does not leave the sub-header blank — Kiwi simply displays the translation default again. This is also why merchants who use the translation/localization feature see this text auto-populated.
Recommended: change it once for all size charts
In most cases you want the sub-header gone everywhere, so set it globally — you only do this once, and it applies to every chart that uses the default modal settings, including charts you create later.
In the Kiwi app, go to Styles & Settings.
Open the Modal section.
Find the Pop-up modal header sub-text field.
Enter a single blank space (press the space bar once) to leave it visually blank — or type your own wording to replace it.
Click Save.
The single space is what suppresses the translation fallback. An empty field will bring “Size Charts” back; a space will not.
Only for one specific chart
Use this route only when you want a different sub-header on one chart than on the rest. It has to be repeated for every chart you want to change, so it is not the way to clear the text store-wide.
Open the size chart you want to change.
Click More actions → Advanced Settings.
Toggle OFF “Use Default Modal Settings” to reveal the pop-up modal header text and pop-up modal header sub-text fields.
Enter a single blank space in the sub-text field to blank it, or type your own wording.
Click Save, and repeat for any other chart that needs it.
Keep in mind: once you turn OFF “Use Default Modal Settings” on a chart, that chart stops following your global modal settings. Later changes you make in Styles & Settings → Modal will not apply to it, and you will need to update that chart on its own.
Note for stores using translations
If you use Kiwi’s translation feature, this sub-header can also be set from the Translations tab, where it defaults to “Size Charts.” The single-space or custom-text approach above still applies — enter a single space to blank it, or your own wording to replace it.
