QR Code Scanning Tips
Bright lights can cause glare on a customer’s phone screen, making QR codes hard to scan.
Try adjusting the lighting or shading the screen to improve scanning success.
Customer presents QR code
1️⃣ Enter the amount
On the New Payment screen:
Type in the amount to be charged
Tap the QR code button to switch to the QR code display
2️⃣ Customer shows their QR code
The customer will:
Show their QR code on their phone for the terminal to scan
3️⃣ Payment is complete
Once the payment is approved:
The terminal will display Approved
Print receipts for Merchant or Shopper
Tap Done to finish
Customer scans QR code
1️⃣ Press the QR code button
Tap the QR code button to show the QR code for scanning
2️⃣ Select the payment provider
Choose the payment provider (e.g., Alipay, WeChat Pay) from the options displayed
3️⃣ Customer scans the QR code
The customer will scan the QR code from their device to complete the transaction
4️⃣ Payment is complete
Once approved, a green confirmation screen will appear
Print receipts for Merchant or Shopper
Tap Done to finish
