Note: This article references IB DP exam-style questions. For IGCSE, these are called 'Test practice questions'.

The Exam Style Questions follow the style of the written answer section of exams. Here you can test how well you can apply the theory in a real exam scenario.

Your teacher must first unlock the exam-style questions for you as an assignment. Once assigned, you will always have access to those questions for practice. You can see the question's corresponding paper, topic, and marks.

You can simply pick the topic you would like to test yourself on, read the question, and write down your answer on paper. This is a perfect exercise to do if you need to practice your handwriting skills, or if you time yourself you can see how well you perform under time pressure!

Once you have completed your answer, you can then compare it to the example answer by clicking on (+ View example answer and mark scheme).

The questions, example answers, and marking guidance in this section area are written by the authors, and may not reflect the way that marks are awarded in an examination. However, we do recruit experienced people to design our material.
