Kognity's High School Science Insights adds several capabilities to support you in monitoring your students’ progress. Insights add the ability to filter data on time period, students (all-individual), units and modules, and activity type. You can also view details of individual student assessment attempts and results!

The new Insights tab is divided into a Textbook Tab where you can keep track of students’ reading progress, and a Questions tab that provides detailed information on student performance on all questions they take in the book, which include the Practice Center as well as questions assigned by you. It also includes Last Activity tab which has an overview of your class' progress in the book, and a Reflections tab which allows you to monitor your students' reflections at the end of each lesson. If you wish to read the article on the Questions tab in Insights, click here.

So what’s in the Textbook Tab?

The design follows a similar pattern to the Insights - questions tab to make navigation quick and seamless for you!

You can filter by topic, subtopic, and section to get a more detailed view of student reading progress.

You can filter either by the whole class or just one student, so you can hone in on individual progress or look for class patterns throughout the book.

You can export your data to CSV with the filters you’ve put in place in Insights.
