Sending question assignments is a great way to identify students' strengths and weaknesses. You can either send an assignment right away or create and save it for later. Once you send a question assignment to your students, we'll auto-grade all their answers for you. If you're a planner, we can schedule assignments too!

Locate the relevant class, click the "Create Assignment" button, and select "Question assignment" from the dropdown menu.

Step 1: Select questions

Choose questions from the question bank or create your own. In the question bank, you will see:

  • Used Questions (a): Previously sent questions have a paper plane icon in the "Sent" column.

  • Topic Sections (b): Sections related to the questions.

  • Question Type (c): Listed under the "Type" column as short-answer or multiple-choice.

You can preview the questions and their answers by clicking directly on them.

Step 2: Customize your assignment.

  1. Create a name for your assignment.

  2. Check recipients or send to multiple classes (on the same subject) by clicking "+ Edit recipients" and selecting specific classes or students.

  3. Rearrange your questions if necessary.

  4. Add a message with specific instructions for your students.

  5. Set a deadline. By default, late submissions are allowed, so the assignment remains visible until completed.

  6. Display answers settings: Configure how results will be shown to students. Options include:

    • Display the answers after each completed question: This allows students to correct misconceptions and improve their understanding before moving on to the next question.

    • Display answers after submitting the assignment: This option is checked by default. The correct answers will be shown right after each student submits the assignment.

    • Display the answers after deadline: This option ensures everyone has access to the answers simultaneously once the deadline has passed.

Click "Review and Schedule" to send it later, "Review and Send" to send it now, or "Finish later" to save the assignment without sending it immediately.
