If you're using the Kontist by Shine overdraft, it's important to know when interest is charged, where to find relevant documentation, and how to cancel your overdraft if needed.
When is interest charged?
Interest is only charged if you actually use the overdraft – that is, if your account goes into the negative.
Billing takes place quarterly, at the end of each quarter, and is automatically deducted from your account.
Where can I find a statement for the interest?
Your account statement already includes all interest charges and serves as the official proof.

How can I cancel my overdraft?
You can cancel your overdraft at any time – as long as your account is not overdrawn:
Open the mobile app → Go to Profile → Overdraft → Cancel
Please note that it is currently not possible to reapply for an overdraft facility at a later point. However, we are already working on making overdraft facilities available again in the future.
