What is device cookie consent?

Device cookie consent, or device monitoring, is an additional layer of prevention used to detect fraudulent activity (including anti-money laundering) on your account.

With each new device (Kontist app on your smartphone or Kontist web app on your computer), you have to confirm your consent.

What information is stored?

The following information from your terminal device is stored and transmitted to Solaris SE:

Your browser, traffic data, location data and other device-related information, including session ID. Solaris SE may add other data to this information and use a service provider to check it for fraud prevention and anti-money laundering purposes.

What happens if I don't consent?

Device cookie consent is mandatory for the secure provision of Solaris SE banking services.

Opening an account without consent is not possible and may result in immediate account blocking or termination of the business relationship.

To withdraw your consent, log in to the Kontist app and go to Legal & Privacy in the settings. There you can turn off device cookie consent.

However, you will not be able to continue using Solaris services without consent, so revocation is not recommended.

You can find more information in our privacy policy https://kontist.com/privacy/
