The reference form on your dashboard should be your starting point, as how quickly we hear from your references can depict how quickly you get through the application process.

All applicants must provide 2 references to complete their application with one of them being a formal reference.

Examples of a formal reference include:

๐ŸŒณ A former employer/manager/supervisor

๐ŸŒณ A university professor or former teacher/tutor

๐ŸŒณ A parent you have provided nannying or babysitting services for

N.B - Your formal reference must have held a senior position to you so this means a colleague would not count as a professional reference.

If you are a parent and have not been in professional employment or education for a while, you are welcome to provide two personal references who know you and your parenting skills really well.

Your references each need to cover a period of at least 3 months.

If you think you canโ€™t provide a formal reference, perhaps because you have been out of employment or self-employed for a long time, please get in touch. You can text us at 07492888510, email care@korukids.co.uk or message us via the chat in the corner of the screen to discuss your options.
