This article has been written for the Koru Kids Nanny Service for nannies who are working with a family.
Working as a nanny can be a rewarding job, providing you with the opportunity to care for and support children while building meaningful relationships with families. However, like any job, it's important to know when you'll be paid for your hard work.
The Koru Kids App
You can use the Koru Kids App or the web to submit shifts as often as you want to. We encourage you to use the app and submit as regularly as possible to keep track of all your worked shifts and save the hassle of tracking them elsewhere.
When submitting your shifts, it's important to make sure that they are accurate and up-to-date. If there are any discrepancies or issues with your submitted shifts, the payment process may be delayed. It's essential to communicate any concerns or questions you have with your employer to avoid any misunderstandings.
Payroll Cycle
The payroll window at Koru Kids runs from the 26th of the previous month to the 25th of the current month. This means that all shifts worked within that period must be submitted by midnight on the 25th of each month at the latest. Once all the shifts have been submitted, Koru Kids processes them by the end of the month.
Please ensure all your shifts submitted by midnight on the 25th of each month at the latest.
Pay Day
All hours approved by the family will be paid by the end of the day on the 7th of the following month. It will be paid by Bank Transfer (Faster Payment) and when it has been released, it should reach your account instantly.
What if the 7th falls on bank holiday or the weekend?
Not too worry! We understand receiving your pay on the correct date is important, so you will be paid at the end of day on 7th regardless of whether it's a bank holiday or the weekend.
