This help centre article has been written for the Koru Kids nanny service

The flat hourly rate you pay to Koru Kids is comprehensive and covers DBS costs, training costs including paediatric first aid, nanny gross wages, holiday pay, PAYE costs, National Insurance contributions, payroll costs for setup and administration, pension setup and administration if required, maternity pay and administration if required and our ongoing training and support.

While our standard policy until recently was to cover SSP on behalf of families, unfortunately due to the coronavirus crisis and the sharp increase in sick pay claims, we are no longer able to cover sick pay for new nanny arrangements made on or after 20th March 2020. We will still cover SSP for any arrangements made before this date. Learn more about sick pay here.
