Next steps after you have given notice
Finalising your nanny’s pay
We will only use your advance payment against your final invoice with your nanny. Any money left after paying for your nanny's final hours and notice period will always be returned to you. Our pay cycles start on the 26th of the month and run until the 25th of the following month. If your last working day falls after the 26th of the month, your final invoice will be in the next pay cycle.
It’s worth making sure that your nanny has submitted all their worked shifts and that this includes any expenses or leave. Once we've issued their final pay, we'll process them as a leaver from your employment.
If required, we'll settle any final employer contributions owed and notify HMRC and The Pensions Regulator that you are no longer an employer, to avoid any unreported periods and specified charges.
