What is CORE Present?

CORE Present is designed to enhance the existing robustness of a listing presentation with a conversational flow that highlights your marketing, prospecting, and pricing confidence while keeping your conversations organized.

It takes the focus of your listing presentation, traditionally geared towards differentiating you from other Agents, and incorporates different personas so you can tailor the presentation different types of audiences.

Whether your audience is shopping Agents or on the fence about selling in the first place, CORE Present will help you organize the structure so your presentation hits home every time.

Insights from the CMA for the property in question are woven throughout the presentation, keeping the tone conversational and removing the intimidation to your audience that often accompanies stark data.

Interaction from your Sellers/Buyers with the CMA and/or listing presentation are automatically tracked and organized into easy-to-understand analytics. Your btPRO Activity Stream will also show when a Seller or Buyer has viewed a shared presentation and the contact record will reflect the activity as well.

My CORE Present account is the 'Present Info' version - what does that mean?

Depending on your MLS and the available Sold data, your account may be the Present Info version.

The Present Info version does not use MLS-dependent slides and thus can be used without an MLS connection! Using Present Info can be used for creating recruitment presentations, educating on the home buying/selling process, pitching the Agent/Brokerage and more.

If a Brokerage or Agent does not upload their own slides, CORE Present will provide impactful, beautifully curated slides that can be leveraged, with presentation themes that align with the agent’s target audience - with Luxury, Modern, and Traditional presentation themes available.

What is the difference between a CMA and a listing presentation?

"CMA" stands for "Comparative Marketing Analysis" and is a tool used by real estate agents to help bring awareness to their Clients regarding market trends and highlight current trends in the active/pending/sold market for recent comparables to help their Buyers and Sellers feel more comfortable with a listing or offer price.

It is not the same as an appraisal. That is a licensed appraiser’s unbiased opinion of a home’s market value based on comparable recent sales in the neighborhood.

A listing presentation is a data-driven, visual representation that highlights a real estate agent's expertise, their marketing plan for generating interest in a Seller's home, and pricing suggestions for the current market to list a few aspects.

It most often includes a CMA's data, but it does not have to depending on the Agent's targeted audience.

Can I generate a CMA without creating a listing presentation or create a presentation without associating it with a property address?

Yes! While the beauty of CORE Present is the ease in which you can generate a CMA and create a corresponding listing presentation with the data gathered, you do not have to use the two in tandem for every Seller or Buyer.

You can choose to generate a CMA and use that information/PDF on its own or you can create a standalone listing presentation with default or personalized slides to showcase non-property-specific information.

My MLS/Brokerage offers a different CMA solution; why should I use CORE Present?

CORE Present was created to fill a void in pricing perspective products. Current products in the space provide a tremendous amount of information but are not structured in a manner to enable a meaningful pricing conversation between agent and Client.

CORE Present retains that foundational purpose and builds on it with further insights found only through btPRO analytics along with more engaging visuals and ease of use. Creating reports and presentations are streamlined and transparent so you know exactly what you are creating each time, adjusting the information as you go.

Where does CORE Present pull its data from?

CORE Present pulls data from public county courthouse tax records when setting up the criteria on the subject property - the listing you are helping price for either Seller or Buyer.

CORE Present then pulls data from your MLS for comparable properties, which include Active, Pending, and Closed listings.

There is a specific slide that shows Buyer demand in the area around the subject property that uses proprietary data accessible only through btPRO as well. Over 400 million property views across 150K+ agent websites and 4.8M+ property alerts configured for consumers by their Agents are aggregated across Inside Real Estate.

How often is CORE Present's data updated?

The data is updated in real-time. There is no delay between the information accessed directly with the MLS and the information accessed with CORE Present. Third party estimates are also in real-time. Advancements to CORE Present are constantly being added as well to keep it the sharpest and most sophisticated pricing perspective model on the market.

If I am a member of multiple MLS boards is CORE Present able to connect with all of them?

It depends. CORE Present must have access to that MLS board's data feed in order to offer it to users. Which MLS data CORE Present can access depends on the IDX feed(s) you have connected to your btPRO account.

If you are an active member of more than one MLS board and the corresponding IDX feeds are all connected to your btPRO account, you will be able to access all of them using CORE Present.

If your btPRO account does not have a MLS board connected, you will be unable to utilize their data within CORE Present.

Why doesn't my MLS ID work?

It may be happening for a number of reasons.

  1. The listing is not Active in your MLS. Active, Pending, and Sold are the only three listing statuses CORE Present will pull into a CMA.

  2. The listing doesn't have any status. CORE Present looks at the 'On Market' and 'Off Market' fields (or the corresponding field in each MLS) to determine a listing's status. If both fields aren't filled out by the listing Agent in the MLS, CORE Present won't recognize the listing for either status.

  3. The listing doesn't have the needed information entered by the listing Agent. If the listing is missing a bed count, price, lat/long, etc...CORE Present will not include it in the CMA because you cannot properly compare it against the subject property.

If you believe one of these scenarios applies to your MLS ID, please reach out to Support using the blue chat bubble or via prosupport@insiderealestate.com.

Why does CORE Present not automatically include a property image on my cover slide?

Because the majority of its use is to win a listing, there is a high chance that there will be no property image added to the MLS for CORE Present to access and use.

The next best option would be to use a Google Image of the property in question, but the majority of those automatically created images are not fit to use in a listing presentation.

CORE Present thus empowers you to use your own images so you have more control over what is shared in a listing presentation designed to represent you and your data.

What slides are available in CORE Present and can I edit the content on them?

At this time, there is no way to edit the content contained within CORE Present's default slides.

How will my Seller or Buyer know which slides are interactive?

Whenever an interactive slide appears in a listing presentation, there is a black finger icon that pops up in the bottom right corner to indicate that some of the slide's information is clickable.

Where do I access the analytics for my Sellers/Buyers?

There are two places you can review the tracked interaction for each CMA/listing presentation:

  1. CORE Present

  2. btPRO

At the bottom of your CORE Present dashboard you will see a list of your past CMAs and presentations. There will be an Analytics column to the right where you can view each of the analytics for CMA/presentation.

In btPRO, you can view a specific Seller or Buyer's contact record and click the blue link to access their activity on the CMA or presentation you previously sent them.

Why can I not change the Color, Font, and/or Main Logo?

Company and Office Admins within btPRO have the ability to lock the Color, Fonts, and Main Logo for all 3 presentation types within CORE Present.

If you see a grey, locked padlock icon to the right of any of these fields it means that your Admin has determined that this particular setting needs to be used throughout each CMA/listing presentation their Agents create.

If you believe that a setting should not be locked, but available for you/your fellow Agents to change, please reach out to your btPRO Admin.

How Can I Update an Existing Presentation?

Update an existing presentation on the home page of CORE Present. Click 'Update'.

Please Note: Once you select 'Update' you can change the presentation. However, this will create a new version of your presentation you can find directly beneath the original.

Why is my 4-page website presentation displaying more than 4 pages when printed?

This is intended functionality, as the website version of will show 4 pages due to the efficient space use web pages allow, among them expansions on clickable spaces. In print, these 4 pages might become 10 due to orientation change, capturing any information available through a click, plus an additional 2+ pages for each address included in the comparables as each listing detail occupies more space.

CORE Present At A Glance

There are 5 distinct aspects of CORE Present:

  1. Building a Presentation

  2. The Presentation

  3. Customization

  4. Library

  5. Analytics

Each of these aspects was created to streamline the creation process, the presentation of information itself, and the post-presentation interaction statistics.

Building a Presentation

The process of building a listing presentation with CORE Present is transparent and flexible, allowing you to preview the presentation as you go.

You have the flexibility to tailor the some of the visuals and information so it feels personal to your audience, both in the contextual structure of the conversation and the aesthetic of the visuals.

The Presentation

The listing presentation is interactive and layered to keep key points at the forefront. Other details are revealed as necessary or relevant so your audience is not overwhelmed with too much data or impatient with unconnected data.

Customization

The customizable areas of CORE Present are "one and done". You do not need to adjust items like branding, images, or business-specific content for every presentation.

Brokers/Admins also have control of some of the branding aspects, which allows you to dictate what color and logo is used throughout presentations, while still allowing Agents the freedom to add in their personal branding.

Library

Since not every conversation requires a full presentation, the Library feature of CORE Presents empowers you to create and store single slides. You can use these to address the value of staging, what you will bring to the table if chosen as their listing Agent, pricing misconceptions, or anything else you would like to have on hand.

These standalone slides do not need a property address and can be easily accessed without having to create an entire presentation. If you would like to use a standalone slide in a listing presentation, however, you will have the option to insert it as you build the presentation.

When creating slides you can now select templates without headers, video slides, and more. Learn more below.

Analytics

Interactions with the presentation by your Clients are tracked, including where they are focusing their attention and time, what they are interacting with, and if they are viewing all the information provided.

Brokers/Admins can access information on how many reports were created across different Offices and individual Agents, empowering you to identify what hurdles may need to be overcome in order for an Agent to successfully close.
