Post Close Companion is a comprehensive program that offers a streamlined approach to help real estate agents like you maintain and strengthen your relationships with your clients that you help successfully sell or buy a property.

We know that these are your most valued clients, which is why we want to help you give them the best experience possible, while also helping you. Your clients will benefit from Market Reports and Seasonal homeowner checklists, while you benefit from reviews, referrals, and returning buyers and sellers.

Post Close Companion’s automated, 34 communication touchpoints engage and nurture your past clients with a multi-channel approach to secure client retention and position you as their continued agent or choice.

How Does Post Close Companion Work?

Post Close Companion specifically focuses on the automated nurturing of clients once the transaction is complete. This product leverages multiple channels of communication in an effort to stay top of mind, encouraging recurring business, getting customer reviews, and gaining additional business through referrals. This premium, done-for-you communication strategy will achieve three main objectives:

  • Testimonials - Your happy clients just closed on their dream home. The time is now to capitalize on their experience and ask them for a review. Once a review is collected, it will be available to be reviewed and published on your kvCORE website. We’ll also provide you with an image of the review that can be applied to your social media accounts.

  • Referrals - Using custom landing pages and a custom share link you will have the opportunity to start warm handoff referrals through smart sharing and pre-made messaging. Your share link is linked uniquely to you and can be shared with anyone. You will be able to see this connection in the new referral leads activity timeline.

    • Only once you’ve received your review will the campaign content shift - content will focus on providing opportunities for your client to share a unique link to gather referrals.

  • Keeping Top of Mind - The post-close campaign will use 34 total touchpoints across multiple channels, made up of holidays, birthdays, property anniversaries, agent reminders, and additional value-added content. The final purpose of the campaign is to stay top of mind for the next 12 months after closing. This year-long, 34-touchpoint campaign uses a combination of direct mail (postcard), email, text, market reports, and reminders.

I’m interested, but when should I purchase Post Close Companion?

You can and should purchase Post Close Companion after all of your closings. It is best to enroll your clients within 30 days of the closing date for the best results and the most relevant content.


How to Purchase & Initial Set Up

From kvCORE, go to your Marketplace and find and click on the Post Close Companion tile.

Click 'Buy Now' and you'll navigate to the setup page where you will select a client.

Please Note: If you do NOT already have a kvCORE website you'll see the website plan option as well!

In this stage of the purchase process, you can verify your contact's details to ensure that all info sent to your clients is up to date.

After purchasing Post Close Companion you will receive an email with more details on automation and how this campaign can work for you.


Adding Clients to Post Close Companion

You can easily add new clients to Post Close Companion directly from their contact record in kvCORE.

To learn more about the Contact Record, click here.

From their contact record, navigate to the panel on the right-hand side. You can then select 'Start Post-Close Companion'.

Once added, it will be added as a note to their timeline.


Updating Your Settings

At any point after purchasing Post Close Companion, you can update your settings by going to the Product Manager.

Find the Post Close Companion tile and select 'Manage'.

You can edit your Agent details, integration configuration, and review collection source.


Integration Configuration

From the Product Manager, you may set your review collection source. This will be the primary source for review collection and once a review has been given it will display directly on the 3rd party source. You may choose Zillow, Google, or the default option, kvCORE.

Using the Integration Configuration section you can easily connect your review sources.

Please Note: You may only connect one review source. Feel free to copy reviews from that source and add them wherever you need to!
