If you didn’t make a payment when you applied for coverage, you’ll need to make your first payment in full before your coverage will start.
There are various options to submit your first payment depending on how you bought your policy:

Corporate office in Baton Rouge or Shreveport office - Pay with check, money order, credit card, or checking account withdrawal.
Any other district office - Pay with check or money order.
Online at Healthcare.gov which redirects to lablue.com:
Pay with credit card, debit card, or electronic funds transfer (EFT).
Please have the following ready:
Application number, subscriber ID number, and/or Exchange ID number
Social Security number
Zip code
Date of birth
Bank or credit card information
