As email becomes increasingly unreliable, we are asking people to contact us via our Green Button messenger service, where your message will not get lost.

For example, it should be used:

  • If you have a question about our service

  • If you are having problems with a purchase

  • If you are a member and have an issue with your membership.

  • If you want to contact us about accessing our training or have an issue regarding one of our events.

  • If you want to contact us about in-house training (via our Easy Law Training website)

(Landlord Law members seeking legal or other advice should use the members-only forum).

If you are on the Landlord Law website - on most pages, if you look to the bottom right of the screen, you will see a round green button with a white chat logo. In fact, you should be able to see it now.

If you click the green button, you will bring up the Landlord Law messenger system.

You may also find, when you first go to Landlord Law, that it will send out a number of 'bot' messages. These are there to help you and contain answers to standard questions (to save your time and ours!).

Using the Green Button service

When you click the button this will open up the messenger box which will look a bit like this (it has been changed a bit since this page was written!):

The 'Find an answer yourself' box is now headed 'Search for help' and you can use it to find one of our many help articles (like this one).

If this does not help, you can start or continue a conversation with us by clicking one of the links in the top white box.

In most cases, you will get a reply fairly quickly although it may take longer out of office hours. Sometimes also we may not respond for a while as we may be doing other work or be out of the office - but in most cases, we WILL respond.

However, note that we do not reply to advertising messages, requests for us to publish articles or blog posts, link exchanges or the like.

When you have finished, you can close the box (e.g. if it is getting in your way) by clicking the white down arrow below the box (see picture below), or sometimes you will need to click an X at the top of the box.

If you would like a demonstration of the system, click the button below - you will need to wait for the popup boxes to show.
