Wales now has different lelgislation for rented property.

On 1 December 2022 the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016 came into force which dramatically changed the law for renting residential homes in Wales.

We now have a separate set of articles and other content which can be accessed via the Wales Page. You will find this linked from the 'Topics' dropdown menu on the site header.

Be aware though, that much relevant law still applies to both England and Wales. If you are ever uncertain about this, you can (if you are a member) ask a question on our members-only forum.
