Overview
Review Chronically Absent Trends Across Subgroups
Click on “Dashboard” then click on the “Chronic absenteeism rate” tile.
NOTE: The “Chronic absenteeism rate” includes any student with <90% YTD attendance.
What do you notice about chronic absenteeism across each grade level?
What do you notice about the distribution between chronically absent (80-89.9%) and severely chronically absent (60-79.9% and Less than 60%)?
Review chronic absenteeism by ethnicity
By changing the second blue drop-down to the group of students you would like to focus on and the third blue drop-down to "ethnicity".
What do you notice about the percentage of chronically absent students by ethnicity?
How does the chronic absenteeism rate for your Black/Latinx students compare to non-Black/Latinx students?
Do you notice any trends that you would like to disrupt? Any you would like to try and continue?
Review chronic absenteeism by special populations
By changing the third blue drop-down to “Special population status”.
What do you notice about the percentage of chronically absent students by special populations?
How does the chronic absenteeism rate for your SWDs or MLL students compare to your Gen-Ed, non-MLL students?
Do you notice any trends that you would like to disrupt? Any you would like to try and continue?

Review YTD Attendance Trends Across Subgroups

NOTE: The “YTD attendance” tile will include active students
