At Lassie, we can't cover costs related to injuries or illnesses that appeared before you took out the insurance or during our waiting periods. We therefore don't reimburse costs related to prior issues, meaning anything your pet has been treated or examined for, or shown symptoms of, over the past 24 months.
Please note, however, that in the case of a chronic illness treated with supplements, therapeutic food or similar, these costs may be covered under the preventive budget included in your plan, as described in section 4.4.
We do not cover congenital (from birth) issues.
