Submitting Your Request

To scan attendees' name badges for contact data at events, purchase a developer's kit. Then, fill out the form at Captello Developer Kit Support. If the kit includes attachments, upload them to a file-sharing service (Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox) and include the link. Submit developer kits at least 30 days before the event.

What Happens Next?

Lead Liaison will confirm your event is ready via email. If you don’t hear back within 2 business days from the start of your event, contact Lead Liaison Support. Additional actions may be required, such as sending updated API info if the provider only sends a sample kit initially.

Finding the Developer Kit

Look for the developer kit on the provider's form, listed as "Developer Kit," "SDK," "Third-Party Scanning," "API Kit," or "API Access." If unsure, ask your implementation manager.

If You Can’t Find the Developer Kit

Contact the lead retrieval provider using this template:

[ Hello,

We are attending [EVENT NAME] on [EVENT DATE] in [EVENT CITY]. We use our own lead capture solution at events, Captello. We would like to use our app to scan name badges at the event. Would you please send instructions so we can purchase a developer's kit to integrate with your API?

We are happy to include our app provider on this email if you have further questions.

Thank you. ]

If the provider requests more information, copy support@leadliaison.com. If you can’t find the provider, email the event's management for direction.

Provider Not on the Integrations List

We can connect with any provider offering an API kit. Send us the kit details even if the provider isn’t listed.

If the Provider Doesn’t Offer a Developer Kit

Post-Show Data Merge: Lead Liaison supports post-show data merge. If real-time scanning isn’t available, ask if post-show data merge is an option.

No Third-Party Scanner Integration: Lead Liaison can use business card transcription or import submissions from the event’s proprietary scanner. Inform event management about your preference for third-party integration.

Show Management Restrictions

If third-party scanners are banned, contact show management for an exception. Use business card transcription or data import as alternatives. Notify management of your preference for future events.

Understanding Developer Kit Dynamics

Refer to the Developer Kit Dynamics diagram for a comprehensive guide on lead capture workflow using Captello’s software, ensuring smooth setup and lead data capture at your events.
