Steps to Create a Lesson

  1. From your Dashboard, click Lessons in the left-hand menu to access the Lessons page.

  2. In the top right corner, select + Generate with AI.

  3. Select the Lesson Plan card to open the lesson creation form.

  4. Select the student(s).

    • You can generate for one student or create a joint lesson for multiple students.

  5. Choose the subject and strand.

    • Or let LearnSpark AI decide based on goals.

  6. Pick a duration (e.g., 30 or 45 minutes).

  7. Add any themes or custom requirements.

    • Example: “Use dinosaurs” or “focus on storytelling.”

  8. Personalize with Student History

Toggle the “Personalize with Student History” switch based on your preference:

    • ON – LearnSpark will incorporate the selected student(s)’ prior learning experiences and previous lesson themes to generate personalized learning outcomes.

    • OFF – Learning outcomes are generated without considering the child's interests or previous lesson themes - they are based purely on the current theme, mastery level, and inputs provided by the user.

AI-Suggested Outcomes

LearnSpark's AI can automatically suggest learning outcomes based on available data. These suggestions vary depending on whether personalization is enabled.

  • With personalization enabled (ON):
Suggestions are context-aware, reflecting the student’s academic age, interests, mastery level, and prior learning experiences.
Example: Victer will calculate the perimeters of different habitat designs by accurately applying the formula for perimeter to at least five given shapes, achieving at least 90% correctness.

  • With personalization disabled (OFF):
Suggestions are based only on the current theme, mastery level, and input fields provided by the user - such as subject, strand, theme, and any custom requirements.
Example: Victer will be able to solve word problems involving addition and subtraction of whole numbers up to 100 with 80% accuracy by the end of the lesson.
