1:1 Meetings

Through Learned, we support employees and their coach(es) in having meaningful conversations. We do this primarily through evaluation cycles the formal conversations within the organization. In addition, your organization may also choose to document 1:1 meetings.

These are more informal conversations between an employee and a coach, or between colleagues. Examples include weekly 1:1s, check-ins, or Bila meetings.

Unlike evaluations, you won’t receive tasks to prepare for these meetings. However, you can still prepare for them for example, by adding discussion topics.

These might include something you'd like to bring up once, or a specific goal you'd like to discuss because you’re facing a challenge.

This article explains how you can view and conduct 1:1 meetings through the Learned app.

Note ❗️: You cannot create a 1:1 meeting using the Learned mobile app. This is only possible via the web version of Learned.

📚 Read these articles for instructions on how to create a 1:1 meeting:

1:1 in the Learned App

When you log in to the Learned mobile app, you can navigate to the 1:1 page via the menu in the bottom left corner.

Overview of All 1:1 Meetings

On the 1:1 page, you’ll see all scheduled and draft 1:1 meetings that have been created. At a glance, you can view the date, time, and the invited participant(s).

Viewing and Conducting a 1:1 Meeting

While you can't create a 1:1 meeting via the Learned app, you can view and conduct existing meetings. Simply tap on an existing meeting to open it.

Talking points

Through the Learned app, you can check off talking points, create new ones, and optionally add comments to each topic.

Next Steps

Just like with discussion topics, you can also create next steps via the app. To do this, navigate to the “Next Steps” tab and tap the plus icon in the bottom right corner. You’ll then be given the option to choose what you want to create, select “Next Step”.

You can then create your next step and assign it to one of the meeting participants.

Shared or Private Notes

During or after the conversation, you can create notes in the Learned app. You can choose to make these notes shared, meaning all participants in the meeting can view them. If you choose private notes, they will only be visible to you.

You can easily switch between the two tabs: Shared Notes and Private Notes.

💡: If other participants have also created shared notes, you can find them under the Shared Notes tab.
