Whether an employee receives suggestions for insights depends on the settings under the performance product. An administrator can choose to enable or disable this option.
Insight suggestions from 1:1 conversations
When conducting a personal 1-1 meeting, there are several ways to record the conversation. You can write notes manually in the “Summary” section or have the conversation automatically recorded and summarized by AI. Afterward, ensure that the summary is published. Only published summaries can be processed into insight suggestions.

The system can suggest insights for the employee and the coach based on the content of the published summaries in a 1-1 conversation.
Insights suggestions based on goals
When you update a goal or an activity of a goal in Learned, for example by adding a comment, the system will analyze the content of the comment, the activity, and the status provided to create a possible insight for the owner of the goal and his/her coach.
💡: Automatic suggestions are also made for co-owners of team and organization goals. These insights are useful when writing colleague input.
All insight suggestions are generated every night and can be found in the ‘Insights inbox’. You can recognize these suggestions by their source: “1-1 conversation” or “Name of the goal.” You can always click on the source to navigate to the relevant source.
You can view the insights, edit them if necessary, add them to your insights, or choose to delete them.
