The LTV by State feature within the Lifetime Value (LTV) Analysis section of the Lebesgue app provides detailed insights into customer lifetime value, retention, and churn rates across different U.S. states. Utilizing this feature allows you to optimize marketing strategies, allocate advertising budgets more efficiently, and identify high-performing geographic areas.



Lifetime Value Data by State

This visualization helps you quickly compare key metrics like LTV, retention, and churn rates across all U.S. states at a glance.

How to use this map:

  • Easily identify states with high lifetime value (highlighted in darker shades).

  • Quickly see regions that have stronger retention or higher churn rates.

  • Decide where to focus your marketing efforts or where improvements are needed.

Note: These metrics are available only for states with a significant number of orders.



LTV for Top-Selling States

This section displays recent LTV estimations for your highest-performing states, ranked by total revenue. It provides a clear view of how valuable customers are in each of these states.

  • 6-month LTV Estimation: Calculated using data from the six latest full months.

  • 12-month LTV Estimation: Calculated using data from the twelve latest full months.

How to use this data:

  • Identify states that deliver the highest long-term customer value.

  • Allocate marketing resources more effectively to states that have proven high value.



Retention Rates for Top-Selling States

This section shows retention and churn rates for your top states, sorted by total revenue from the last 12 months.

  • Retention Rate: Represents the percentage of customers who made at least one repeat purchase.

  • Churn Rate: Indicates the percentage of customers who made only a single purchase and never returned.

Use this data to:

  • Understand where your most loyal customers reside.

  • Develop targeted retention campaigns for states with high churn rates to increase repeat purchases.



States Statistics Table

This table provides comprehensive sales and LTV-related metrics for each state over your selected time period. The key columns include:

  • Orders: Total number of orders placed from each state.

  • First-time Orders: Number of orders placed by new customers.

  • Repeat Orders: Number of orders from customers making subsequent purchases.

  • Revenue: Total revenue generated by each state.

  • First-time Revenue: Revenue from initial purchases.

  • Repeat Revenue: Revenue from returning customers.

  • 6-month LTV: Projected average revenue per customer in their first six months, based on recent data.

  • 12-month LTV: Projected average revenue per customer in their first year.

  • Retention Rate: Percentage of customers who placed repeat orders.

  • Churn Rate: Percentage of customers who did not return after their first purchase.

  • AOV (Average Order Value): Average revenue per order.

  • First-time AOV: Average order value for customers’ first purchases.

  • Repeat AOV: Average order value for returning customers.

Note: Metrics are only calculated for states with sufficient order data to ensure accuracy.
