Please Note: This refers to the ERM module only, not the standard Breach Reporting module.

You can find the Duplicate records by following the steps below;
Note: We would advise that you first change the name of one of them, so that you can distinguish between the two sub types.

  1. In the Modules Drop-down menu go to the Breach Register page

  2. Once on this page select the Filters option

  3. In Please Select Breach Sub-Type, add the two sub types

  4. Select a date range big enough to encompass all of your records so that none are missed

  5. Click Apply Filters on the right of the screen

  6. Click the Download button at the bottom of the page to download a copy of your Report

Once you have found the records that you wish to amend, you can make changes to the record by following the below steps;

  1. Find the record that you wish to edit

  2. Click on Edit on the right of the record

  3. The Breach Sub-Type will automatically display the one currently set, use the Drop-Down to select the one that you want to replace it with

  4. Click Save at the bottom of the page

You would need to do this for each record that you wish to amend.

Note: When you have made the above changes, we recommend that you then disable the record that you have determined is the duplicate, so that it is not used in the future. You can do this by going to Account Settings and clicking on Module Set Up. Then select Risk Management followed by Incident Register. Find the duplicate record and then click Disable on the right of the record that you no longer wish to use.
