The Breach Reporting module allows for SRA and ICO outcomes to be tagged to the record, further evidencing which areas of the code of conduct, accounts rules, and ICO principles have been breached.
This enables reporting to identify which outcomes are being breached most frequently and establish an understanding of how to mitigate these types of breaches.
Note: You must be a Supervisor for the Breach Reporting module to action the steps below.
To add the outcomes to a breach record, follow the steps below:
Click Modules then click Breach Reporting.
In the Search field, search for the required record.
Tip: Search by record information such as reference number and who identified the breach.Once the record has been located, click View.
On the record summary page, scroll down to the Regulations Breached box.
To tag the Code of Conduct and Accounts Rules outcome, click the SRA tab.
Alternatively, To tag the Principles, click the ICO tab.Click Manage Regulations.
Use the search box to search for outcomes.
Tip: This function allows you to use the smart search feature to search keywords associated with the breach to filter the outcomes.From the list of associated outcomes, select the most appropriate then click + Add.
Clear the search bar and repeat this process until all relevant keywords have been searched and tagged for both the SRA and ICO outcomes.
Note: These breach outcomes will automatically pull through to the Outcome Types report on the reporting dashboard for breach reporting. This allows for the most frequently breached outcome types to be identified and appropriate remedial measures can then be put in place to mitigate breaches of this kind in the future.
