When logging a breach on the system, there is the option to assign remedial action tasks. These tasks can act as a checklist of actions that need to be completed in order to mitigate the potential of the breach occurring again in the future. Examples of remedial actions include staff training, internal policy amendments, and changes in internal processes and procedures.
To complete a remedial action task, follow the steps below:
On the Task List, locate the task then click View.
At the top right, in the user Task list, locate the associated task then click View.
In the task window, review the remedial action details and complete the tasks.
Once the remedial action has been completed, specify the date it was completed.
In the Remedial Action Completion Details box, enter the steps that were carried out.
Click Complete Task.
Tip: To further evidence the completion of remedial action on the breach record, use +Add a new Note or +Add a new Attachment.
