Legal Nodes operates on a credit-based system for accessing global legal support. While each plan includes monthly credits, you can purchase additional credits at any time through the 'My Plan & Credits' page. This flexibility allows you to select the exact number of credits you need or opt for credit bundles, which are particularly useful if you anticipate multiple requests and want to ensure a sufficient balance.
Important things to note about credits:
Legal Nodes employs a credit-based system to pay for Virtual Legal Officer support
Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance
Unused monthly credits expire at the end of each month
Additional credits can be purchased as needed
Purchased credits do not expire but require an active subscription to use
This system ensures continuous access to legal solutions and flexible usage management
Where to find your credits balance
You can always see your credits balance in the top menu in your Legal Nodes account.
To view more of your billing information, including your plans, click on the + icon next to your credits balance in the top menu.
This will take you to the ‘Manage My Plan & Credits’ page.
Here, you’ll be able to see more information about your credits balance, including which credits you have covered by your plan (issued each month) and how many credits you have that you have purchased additionally.
You'll also be able to see information about your active plan and any other plans available to you.

Purchasing additional credits
In your ‘Manage My Plan & Credits’ page, you can buy additional credits by clicking on the blue + icon or by scrolling down the page.
At the bottom of the page, you can purchase individual credits or credit bundles. Simply choose the number of credits you wish to purchase and click ‘Buy Credits’ to proceed with the purchase.
Unlike monthly plan credits, purchased credits do not expire and remain available for use until they are spent. Learn more about the Legal Nodes credit system.
