After we've assessed your needs, the onboarding process begins with Know Your Customer (KYC) checks and platform registration. This article explains how to prepare for these initial steps.
The KYC process at Legal Nodes
Our KYC process is designed to be swift and straightforward.
Create your account: You'll receive a link from our team to set up your account on our platform. This typically takes just a few minutes.
Accept Terms of Service: Review and accept our Terms of Service to proceed.
Complete KYC checks: We partner with a trusted third-party provider to conduct necessary Know-Your-Customer verifications. This process is usually quick, but we're here to assist if you encounter any issues.
Set up payment: Choose your preferred payment frequency (monthly or quarterly) and configure your payment settings in your account.
Make initial payment: Complete your first payment to activate your account.
Congratulations! Your account is now set up, you’ve made a payment for your plan, and you're ready to go! For information on the subsequent steps, including your onboarding call with a Virtual Legal Officer (VLO) and the creation of your Legal Projects, please refer to Onboarding Part 2: Preparing for Legal Discovery Sessions and creating Legal Projects.
